The pooja of Rajinikanth’s forthcoming Kuselan was held at the AVM Studios in Chennai this morning. The Pillayar temple at AVM Studios was a buzz of activity as it was here that the pooja was held.
Kuselan is jointly produced by Kavithalaya Productions and Seven Arts; it stars Rajinikanth, Pasupathy, Meena and Vadivelu in the lead roles. Music for the film is by G.V. Prakash Kumar while Arvind Krishna handles the cinematography. The film is directed by P. Vasu, who directed Rajni in Chandramukhi.
With Balachander at the clapboard and P. Vasu in the director’s chair, a shot of the famed Pillayar was taken by cinematographer Arvind Krishna thus officially (and auspiciously) launching the shoot of Kuselan.
Producers AVM Saravanan, Ramkumar, actors Pasupathy, Prabhu, Meena, Jeevan, Vedivelu, directors K.S. Ravikumar, K. Balachander, Shankar, S.A. Chandrasekhar, Jeevan, Vijay, South Indian Film Chamber president KRG, Producers' Council president Rama Narayanan and composer G.V. Prakash Kumar attended the launch.
